CommunityFirstAlert.com is a telephone notification service that allows the police chief, fire chief,
mayor, or other senior government official to contact members of the community quickly in an emergency
situation. The service can be used to call everyone in the community with a short message or it can be used
to call people on a single street with a more targeted message, such as a water main break or power outage.

|
CommunityFirstAlert.com gets the phone numbers to call from two sources. The main database is provided
by the local phone company. All phone numbers are encrypted and secure and are not made available for any other
use other than use by the government and security leaders in your city, town, village, township or county. If
you do not want to be called in an emergency, you can simply press the 9 key on your phone after you get any call
and your phone number will automatically be put in the do not call list.

Some people who live in the community do not have a traditional landline phone, but instead use their cell phone as
their primary phone. Those people need to visit this web site to add their cell phone numbers to the databse so that
they can be notified in an emergency. Please choose your community below and then add your cell phone number(s) to the
emergency phone list.

CommunityFirstAlert.com makes its best effort to reach community members in the case of an emergency,
but no service can be 100% guaranteed to reach everyone and we make no claim of being able to do so.
This service is a supplement to local radio and television coverage as well as the emergency radio station and
siren systems used by many communities.
